Three Day Plein Air Workshop in Beautiful Lake TahoeJuly 18th, 19th and 20th ~ 10am to 2:00pm Improve your watercolor skills at this easy and relaxed workshop with local artist Susie Alexander hosted by the Arts In Wellness community studio. “How to Paint Water” – Two Day Intensive Plein Air Workshop Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, June 29th ~ 9am to 2pmThis is a two day workshop studying the process of landscape painting taken from the initial steps of sketching, composing and eventually putting our design on canvas. No previous experience is necessary; all materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring your own. We will be meeting Saturday at 9am at the Truckee Regional Park upper parking lot (look for the sunflowers attached to my car antenna). The first day we will concentrate on depicting flowing water, and on Sunday we’ll move over to the lake and work on a painting of still water. The intention is to welcome everyone in finding their expression is unique and valid and to communicate with color in a whole new way.
Arts in Wellness operates on a donation basis and no one is turned away.

The Arts in Wellness studio is located at 10153 West River Street, Truckee, CA 96161. It is a loft studio with eight stations, providing classes and workshops with acrylic paint, watercolor, tempera paint and drawing.
Materials and aprons are provided and all sessions are limited to eight participants unless otherwise stated.
